What you will contribute to

• You will make sure that BlaBlaCar operates in a safe way and that our members’ personal information and our company’s data is secure in our facilities and in the cloud. 
• You will maintain a company-wide risk analysis to design and enforce the security strategy aligned with BlaBlaCar’s business objectives and culture. 
• You will work closely with the Engineering and IT teams to implement the security strategy in the most efficient and friction-less way possible. 
• You will foster a good security culture and organize appropriate trainings for all employees. 
• You will lead BlaBlaCar’s security policy evolution and compliance efforts together with the legal team. (GDPR…)

What you will need to be successful

• Your prior experiences should include senior or lead role in Information Security and technical practice.
• You have a global and broad knowledge in security on physical, technical, social, legal aspects. 
• You have worked in an agile and continuous improvement culture. You have excellent communication skills and you are able to explain complex security subjects to non-technical people.
• You have good knowledge of security regulations and standards (GDPR, PCI…)

And it would be nice (not required) if you had:

• Experience in a fairly large web company. 
• Experience in cloud environments
