Joining one of our most pivotal functions, as an Infrastructure Engineer you'll share responsibility for Biza’s infrastructure and systems, ensuring that they meet best practices including automation, availability and security. You'll be adaptable and proactive in using various tools to deploy products, provision services and diagnose medium to high level issues. You'll also act as a key enabler for the juniors within the engineering teams and ultimately will be obsessed with ensuring that customer goals are met.

Reporting into the Head of Infrastructure, you'll also be given the autonomy to design and drive cloud-based infrastructure projects and will be encouraged to share your opinion on information system options, risk, and any operational impact to identify opportunities for improvements. You'll build strong cross-functional relationships and will be committed to delivering simple and easy (KISS) infrastructure design for your peers and customers to use.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you’ll need:

• 3+ years experience in Linux based Systems Infrastructure
• Track record of deploying highly available, reliable and high performance distributed systems
• Experience with AWS core services (EC2/RDS/VPC/IAM)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code, ideally with Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with Docker and container related work
• Exposure to DevOps principles
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Bash or Python and experience writing code and scripts would be highly valuable
