Job Description

You'll be responsible for contributing to and implementing the strategy of the HR function while supporting the needs of Biza’s employees to deliver the broader company strategy. You'll also provide professional advice and support to management in relation to HR, culture, industrial relations, safety as well as learning and development.

This role is part of a small, fast paced team and will require you to function productively in a highly autonomous environment where critical thinking and fast learning is an absolute requirement.

You'll also have the opportunity to: 

  • Develop organisational systems, policies and streamlined processes which empower and develop employees across all levels of the company 
  • Identify, drive and deliver projects across the HR & People function (such as performance management, learning & development, culture & engagement etc) 
  • Work with our external RPO provider to support the development and implementation of a Talent Acquisition strategy and Employee Value Proposition 
  • Provide reports and presentations to the Board and Executive as required 
  • Manage one direct report (with potential for the team to grow as we scale) 

Qualifications

  • Degree level qualifications in HR or in a related discipline 
  • Significant experience in a Senior HR / P&C role with similar responsibilities 
  • Innovative and creative approach to problem-solving and ability to operate effectively in uncertainty 
  • Start-up mentality or experience within a scale-up or small/growing business
  • Experience with HRIS software is preferable
  • Experience with building culture and productivity while working within a remote native work environment will be highly regarded
