The Role: 

Bismarck Motor Company is seeking a part-time Automotive Inventory Photographer who loves spending time outdoors and has a passion for the automotive industry. The right person for this position loves mastering a process and becoming an expert at their craft.

By owning the process, and duplicating it each day, the ideal photographer will be able to produce consistent, vibrant and uniform photos for our websites. Our ideal photographer loves learning a process and sticking to it.

In this role, you will manage inventory photos through missing photo reports and produce photos of new and used vehicles for our dealership websites. This individual will be working independently but is also comfortable initiating conversations with dealership staff to build a strong rapport. Will work with our website and inventory management software to manage vehicle details to make sure all of the units are being presented with correct details and information to the consumer.

• Using missing photo reports to help identify cars with missing photos
• Must be familiar with basic photography concepts (lighting, focus, framing the shot, etc...) and comfortable following a process.
• Shoot photos and videos of automobiles on the lot
• Staging vehicles to be photo ready and returning to lot previous lot location
• Navigate different technology programs
• Build rapport with dealership staff
• Monitor online display of vehicle details and verifying they are presented correctly
• Loves the outdoors, no matter the elements
