About This Role:
As a Customer Manager - Rare Diseases, you will embark on a transformative journey with Biogen's commercial team, leading the charge in redefining patient engagement within the rare disease community. In this pivotal role, you will drive innovative strategies to foster adoption and utilization of groundbreaking therapies. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, your primary mission will be to cultivate enduring partnerships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, propelling the launch and commercial success of our rare disease portfolio. Your strategic acumen and execution of sales initiatives will be instrumental in delivering exceptional value to our business. Serving as a liaison between customers and our internal teams, you'll not only achieve key sales targets but also contribute to our overall mission of elevating patient care in the rare disease space.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop cutting-edge customer engagement strategies to enhance the adoption of rare disease products.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through dynamic promotion and education of products to healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate ongoing dialogue with HCPs, offering exceptional support and detailed product insights.
- Build robust relationships with specialty HCPs and centers, advocating for comprehensive patient care pathways.
- Collaborate with Key Medical Experts to devise and implement high-impact engagement projects.
- Initiate and lead value-added customer projects, including educational and patient support programs.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs, leveraging insights to inform strategic direction and product positioning.
- Work in concert with Marketing, Medical, and Market Access teams to synchronize customer engagement strategies.
- Engage with the Customer Experience & Operations team to refine omnichannel approaches, elevating the customer journey.
- Explore and develop innovative market access strategies for the rare disease market.
- Maintain strict adherence to compliance standards and provide detailed reporting on sales and engagement outcomes.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- A proven track record in sales and customer engagement within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong capabilities in relationship building, project management, and market intelligence.
- A deep understanding of the rare disease landscape and experience in this area is highly desirable.
