About This Role:
As a Human Resources Manager, you will be a vital part of the team, working directly under the guidance of the GCC HR Lead to bolster the HR function across the GCC countries. Your role is instrumental in executing HR strategies that foster organizational growth, enhance team effectiveness, and boost engagement amongst GCC staff. You'll have a diverse range of responsibilities, from HR operations, onboarding, and performance management to learning and development, as well as driving initiatives in diversity, equity, and inclusion. This opportunity not only allows you to manage key HR processes but also to serve as a linchpin for cross-collaboration with professionals across affiliates and regions. Your efforts will directly contribute to the company's success, and your position will be key to the effective partnership with various HR Centers of Excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new joiners, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Execute local HR processes, including payroll administration, immigration matters, and governmental portal management.
- Support GCC distributors in managing associates and maintaining Biogen's standards.
- Partner with people managers in the GCC to provide support and guidance on a range of HR topics.
- Engage with employees, offering assistance and working collaboratively to enhance their experience.
- Conduct regular HR processes, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and compensation planning.
- Lead HR projects in alignment with the GCC HR Lead, contributing to strategic initiatives.
- Resolve employee relations issues and provide consultancy on performance management.
- Stay informed on local laws/regulations to ensure compliance and proactively manage changes.
- Contribute to training programs and manage leave of absence processes in collaboration with GBS colleagues.
- Ensure government compliance through effective management of various government portals (including: MOHRSD, Gosi, Mudad, Qiwa, Muqeem, Champers of Commerce, Seha, MOFA, DDA, etc).
- Oversee the administration of payroll and benefits, and audit HR processes for distributor employees.
- Represent Biogen's interests and uphold company values and conduct standards.
Who You Are:
You are a Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of HR experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Your expertise spans across the HR spectrum, and you are well-versed in UAE & KSA labor laws. As an independent and results-oriented professional, you have the drive to roll up your sleeves and deliver impactful outcomes. Building consensus comes naturally to you, and your strong communication skills allow you to articulate complex HR strategies effectively. You thrive in dynamic environments and are adept at juggling multiple projects with finesse. Your passion for HR is matched by your commitment to fostering an inclusive and efficient workplace.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of HR Business Partner/Generalist experience.
- Extensive knowledge of UAE & KSA labor laws.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a dynamic and changing environment.
- Results-oriented with a hands-on approach to achieving objectives.
- Independent worker with the ability to also build consensus among diverse teams.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and business priorities efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Familiarity with international work environments and a global mindset.
- Strong passion for Human Resources and continuous improvement initiatives.
