About This Role

The Manager, HR Solution Owner plays a crucial role in delivering end-to-end solutions and optimizing Human Resources processes with strategic goals for the organization.  This role will ensure seamless and efficient operations while aligning HR Platforms, processes and tools that support our dynamic workforce. This role reports into the Head, HR Digital Innovation.

*This role may be based remotely in US or Warsaw, Poland.

What You’ll Do

  • Process Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall efficiency in collaboration with HR stakeholders.
    • Lead initiatives to digitize and automate HR workflows, reducing manual efforts and enhancing user experience.
    • Driving user-centric solutions, understanding journeys and experiences and centralize and maintain the documentation of process maps, journeys, and playbooks.
  • Aligning HR Platforms Management with business capabilities:
    • Driving the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HCM, ATS and LMS to streamline HR processes.
    • Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure the integration of HR Platforms, Product releases, resolving technical issues and enhancing system capabilities.
    • Drive Platform innovation to meet business capabilities.
  • Data Governance and Analytics:
    • Establish and maintain data governance standards, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Utilize HR analytics team to provide insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance workforce planning.
  • User Testing, Training and Support:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for HR users to ensure effective utilization of HR Platforms.
    • Provide ongoing support to HR teams and end-users, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Change Management:
    • Lead change management initiatives related to HR technology implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
    • Engage with HR stakeholders to communicate system updates, changes, and best practices.
  • Be accountable for building a concrete understanding of Biogen’s stance and efforts around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, as well as integrate DE&I strategies into the talent lifecycle (e.g. talent management, hiring, compensation)
     
  • Actively participate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, such as Employee Resource Groups programming, to reinforce HR’s commitment to an inclusive, engaging environment

Qualifications

Who You Are 
You are self-starter, solution-oriented individual who has experience with HR platforms and technology and driving innovation.  You love working with data governance and analytics to inform impactful decisions for the business.  You have a track record of successfully partnering with stakeholders and leading project and change management initiatives. 

•    5-7 years of experience in human resources or related work.
•    Strong understanding of some HR areas such as: HR management, including talent acquisition, compensation, training, employee relations, legal compliance, diversity initiatives, HR analytics is preferred.
•    In-depth knowledge of ATS, LMS or HCM.
•    Program and/or Project Management experience. 
•    Analytical skills and ability to identify trends. 
•    Strategic Contribution: Brings a strategic mindset to HR functions and contributes strategically to the organization.
•    Skilled at Business Partnership, Advising, & Consulting  
•    Leadership Abilities: Demonstrates leadership within the HR Solutions team, providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Education:   
A BS/BA degree is required. Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA).
 

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is $77,100 to $124,100. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen’s LTI grants and other incentive programs.
