Job Description
The Senior Program Manager, Global Non-employee Workforce Office, is a member of the procurement team that supports the global non-employee program. The scope and responsibility of this role includes support to Business Owners, Vendors and GBS. This individual will manage program governance, operations, reporting and metrics. The individual will serve as triage point for non-employee incidents, questions, and business support.
What you will do
- Act as Global Non-employee Workforce Office (GNEWO) process owner and leader for day-to-day execution, ensure proper governance through KPIs and continuous improvement
- Responsible for enterprise-wide support to the procurement function and stakeholders throughout the contracting and non-employee management journey in partnership with Biogen’s contracted Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Manages non-employee analyst team, their goals, development, and providing feedback to increase organizational performance
- Owns non-employee program stakeholder escalations and collaborates with stakeholders to guide them through the process
- Manages ongoing prioritization of existing vendors to be assessed and onboarding of new affiliates to GNEWO process
- Assist the Cyber Security/Data Privacy/Compliance/Procure-to-Pay (PtP) Owners to provide overall leadership and governance of the SAP Fieldglass platform, considering solution requirements and needs
- Act as SAP Fieldglass Reporting SME for program solution
- Lead SAP Fieldglass user groups as appropriate to understand and implement critical updates for improved operating performance
- Applies knowledge to other functional areas to maximize GBS performance
- Develops and supports GNEWO capability roadmap, improving performance, increase team capabilities, and contributes to overall Risk Strategy
- Works closely with IT leadership on governance of the platform, considering SAP Fieldglass requirements
- Provide support for questions and issues related to governance of the platform Aravo, and delivering solutions for prioritization of the issues as they arise
- Facilitate the development and deployment of configuration changes and enhancements within the SAP Fieldglass tool
- Research and document new features in SAP Fieldglass & MSP partnerships, including yearly upgrades
- Provide consulting, analysis, and hands-on support for visible or complex projects or ones that involve new features
- Lead and document platform/module process discussions and decisions in partnership with the GNEWO LT
- Report and analyze cross-functional metrics and trends
- Provide support on consultation on MSP/SAP FG capabilities
- Participate in UAT testing when necessary
- Facilitate projects/discussions on a regular cadence with functional stakeholders
- Maintaining, Supporting and Updating Global Non-Employee Policy
- Serves as focal point (in conjunction with legal) on local laws in the US, the Global Non-Employee Policy for stakeholders in the line business and administration functions including HR, Tax and Procurement; provide recommendations on the engagement of non-employees.
- Keep well-informed of the US laws and regulation as well as requirements and liaison with government officials if necessary, to ensure Biogen’s compliance.
Qualifications
Who you are
- Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience, including 5+ yrs. experience in project/program management position highly desirable.
- Experience with negotiation of contract and commercial terms and conditions (3years+) & business reporting
- Demonstrated experience in global business services with environment with proven track record of supporting operational delivery with high degree of customer-focus
- Ability to prioritize complex, competing initiatives – excellence in multi-tasking, problem solving and critical thinking.
- Exceptional analytic abilities, including ability to tell an impactful story leveraging data, metrics, technology.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to work collaboratively with others from any functional area or background, to influence thinking, and gain acceptance of others. Ability to work with and through all levels in an organization.
- Self-motivated and capable of operating independently with limited oversight. Strong sense of personal accountability for work tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to operate in the details and to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with business platforms and GNEWO tools, including: Oracle, SAP Fieldglass, Microsoft tools, Aravo (or similar).
