About This Role

At Biogen, Enterprise Integration plays a critical role for information exchange/data movement between multiple systems. As a key role within Enterprise Integrations team under EAUS organization, the Integration Lead will work with the scrum master and a team of developers to design, develop and deliver robust Integration solutions leveraging well-established architecture, platforms, best practices, and standards, for corporate functions. This person will collaborate with key stakeholders including the Functional IT Teams, Development Team, Solution Providers, IT Quality, Project Managers, and the business users to define and execute Integration solution development related activities. This role will also be a proponent of Biogen’s next generation Integration architectures across the Biogen enterprise in conjunction with other key Integration architects.

What You’ll Do

• Lead stakeholder engagement for Integration solutions
• Define Strategy, roadmaps, best practices and standards for Data Integration platforms
• Define Integration Architecture to solve business problem as per requirements
• Provide Technical Leadership for Design / Build / Test / Document / Delivery of Integration Solutions
• Lead the support for testing phases ( SIT, VAL, UAT) and deployment

Who You Are

You have a consultative approach when handling complex Integration projects with the ability to communicate well with senior level business owners and IT teams.  You possess strong listening skills with ability to make timely well-informed decisions along with the skills to translate business requirements and architecture designs into system designs.  You are well versed in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) / API concepts and other key Integration technologies.

Required Skills

• 12 + years of professional experience with Integration lead responsibilities
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in one or more of the Integration technologies (Middleware, API Management, MFT, Data Integration)
• Ability to work across a wide organization to achieve results based on technical vision
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree
• IT Delivery Management expertise including methodology, tools, and reporting to track project activities and progress
• Hands-On IT Technical management experience
• Cross-system and full-stack architecture experience and awareness
• Architectural expertise across the Integration design principles
• Experience working with outsourced service providers
• Strong intuition regarding portfolio and financial decisions and business needs

Preferred Skills

• Biotech / Life Sciences experience
• Knowledge of GxP is highly preferred
• Related advanced technical certifications and/or degrees
• Exposure to Data Virtualization
