Job Description
This position will be a 4 day 10-hour shift Friday through Monday laboratory role.
About This Role
The Associate I, QC will be required to coordinate within and across teams to support batch production and release. This role will consist of working on the manufacturing floor to collect water, and to perform time-sensitive laboratory tests. This person will report to the QC manager and will work in conjunction with a counterpart during the weekends.
What You’ll Do
- Perform In-Process, Release, and Stability Testing of products (Bioburden, Endotoxin).
- Perform Water Collection and Water Testing (Bioburden, Endotoxin, TOC, Conductivity).
- Support Manufacturing Batch Production (Incubation of Batch EM, Summary Reports)
- Support Validation Activities (Biological Indicator Testing/ Endotoxin Indicator Testing)
- Maintain the laboratory in an audit ready state (consumable check/ chemical/media inventory)
Who You Are
You enjoy working in a laboratory setting and performing a wide array of sample testing. You are independent with a desire to learn new techniques and provide support for product manufacturing.
Qualifications
This position requires ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to stand 4-6 hours at a time is also required.
- Minimum of an AA Degree.
- Understanding of cGMP requirements.
- Ability to communicate verbally and through e-mail.
Preferred Skills
- LIMS experience.
- Laboratory or comparable experience (filtration, water collection).
