About This Role

Manufacturing Technical Operations team is a part of Manufacturing Department . This team is a group of Process Specialists and experts supporting Manufacturing Operations on a day to day basis. This team is  involved in New Product Introduction, Continuous improvements Productivity improvements etc. 

As an Intern working in this team you will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience in different Unit Operations including Upstream and Downstream Process. You will have opportunities to directly work with  different teams including Operations, Process Engineering,  Automation, Manufacturing Sciences, Quality etc. You will be exposed to State of the Art Manufacturing systems and Equipment's that use Delta V, Syncade etc. Overall the Objective of Internship is to provide insights of Operations in Biotech Manufacturing and attract new  talents. 

What You'll Do

  • Participation and Observation of Shop Floor activities.
  • Ensure timely and Clear communication of the status of assigned Task/Project to the Reporting Manager
  • Support updating of Documents including Bill of Material (BOM), Formula recipes, Bill of Parameters, Process Flows, WI, RG/RT documents, Operational Issue Resolution etc. 
  • Document, analyze and present data using  PI historian, Delta V ,Microsoft excel, Power point, Visio etc. 

Who You Are

You have previous involvement in biotechnological principles related to biologics manufacturing and a familiarity with cell culture and/or purification of biologics processes. Practical knowledge or hands-on experience in unit operations, including process and automation, is advantageous.
 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in biochemical engineering or closely related field
  • Theoretical knowledge of the biotechnological principles behind biologics manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with Cell culture and/or purification of biologics.
  • English - B1 level 
  • Good communication skills.
