About This Role 
The HR Business Partner, Global Product Strategy & Commercialization (GPS&C), supports all of the Product Development & Commercialization (PDC) teams for both on market and pre-launch products, Global Value & Access, Public Policy & Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs, and Customer Excellence and Operations. This position will drive the HR agenda for each client group, developing and implementing a comprehensive People and Culture Strategy aligned with business needs. The GPS&C organization is spread across both the US and Europe, and these global functions play a pivotal role, interfacing with the regions and every affiliate around the globe. The PDC Teams are accountable for driving long term strategic value of the brands, and lead cross functional teams comprised of Commercial, Medical, Value & Access, PO&T, R&D, Corp Affairs, Finance, Legal & Compliance. This role will also support the US Biosimilars Business.  
This position reports directly to the Head of HR- GPS&C and Talent & Employee Experience.

What You’ll Do 
•    Proactively engage with the leaders of the functions s/he supports, serving as a credible, trustworthy and capable HR partner in leading organization effectiveness across the business 
•    Act as a thought partner for business leaders on business, people and organization-related matters to drive business results 
•    Determine organizational implications of business strategy; Provide guidance and thought partnership on organization design; Develop and implement change management and communication plans 
•    Provide coaching and guidance for performance improvement, facilitating difficult feedback and other employee relations support 
•     Proactively assess and identify retention and engagement trends; Develop and implement retention and engagement strategies 
•     Proactively assess and identify talent acquisition needs; Partner with Talent Acquisition to build talent pools / map talent, identify critical capabilities, etc. 
•    Proactively assess and create talent development opportunities and facilitate cross-functional / cross-therapeutic area talent movement 
•    Provide guidance and support on developing function and team culture; Participate on culture teams to help define and implement culture initiatives 
•    Partner closely with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to execute programs, processes and practices, including Performance Management, Retention and Engagement efforts, Learning and Development, Compensation Planning, Culture Survey and Organization Talent Review 
•    Act a consultant and advisor with evolving and significant understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to further learning and capability within client group, own function, and broader organization
•    Work in partnership with DE&I, the HR community, and the ERNs to build a strong internal and external reputation as a great place to work for all and cultivate a strong external network of appropriate D&I connections
•    Utilize the HR dashboard to understand diversity metrics, and review data regularly to reinforce and inspire action, accountability and outcomes 

Qualifications

Who You Are 
You are a consultative Human Resources professional who is experienced with providing a variety of HR solutions to meet business needs globally.  You love analyzing data, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and excel in building relationships with business stakeholders in a dynamic environment.  You have a global and inclusive mindset, and want to work for a mission driven company.

•    A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology, human resource management, business or a related field is required. Advanced degree preferred (MBA, HR/LIR or Org Psych) 
•    10+ years of experience in progressive roles in human resources, including human resources business partner or “generalist” roles and HR CoE roles; Pharmaceutical experience preferred. Experience supporting commercial client groups preferred. 
•    Strong cross-functional partner who collaborates well with HR COEs 
•     Demonstrated experience leading culture change initiatives and experience working in a medium to high employee relations environments 
•    A self-motivated individual who is comfortable operating with minimal direction and who thrives in a dynamic environment as a leader influencing change and transformation. 
•    Credible and savvy business partner who will be perceived as a trusted consultant and functional expert to senior management. 
•    Knowledgeable in key business practices, external trends and information; reward and benefits strategies and innovative tactics being applied in the marketplace 
•    Able to build credibility among senior management and peers to gain commitment and support for major initiatives 
•    An individual of unquestioned personal and business integrity who will be viewed as trustworthy 
•    Mission-driven individual with high energy and strong levels of perseverance; works toward both individual and team goals 
•    Capable of rolling up one’s sleeves to do whatever it takes to drive results; not hindered by process or ambiguity
