Value and Access Intern

Job Description
Supporting the UK & Ireland, Health Technology Assessment Team (UK & Ireland) the intern will work on reimbursement submissions for both existing and pipeline medicines to ensure that Biogen medicines are reimbursed inline with the business strategy. We are looking for someone with an interest and understanding of economic modelling and evaluation of medicines. The projects may include analysing clinical and economic data, medical writing and coordinating complex projects.
The role will involve collaborating with other teams such as Medical, External Affairs & Commercial which will give the successful candidate a range of insights into the roles within a pharmaceutical company.
The role may also involve supporting the Head of Value & Access (V&A) to analyse information from the external healthcare environment to help shape the V&A strategy and enhance engagement with the NHS. An interest in the structure and commissioning arrangements of the NHS would be helpful.
Qualifications
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant topic, such as health economics or economics with an interest in health economic modelling
- Strong knowledge of excel

The role will be office based (Maidenhead) where attendance will be required at least 2-3 days per week.
