About this role
The Associate Medical Director Neuropsychiatry role is a part of Global Medical, a strategic partner within Biogen, that helps inform medical practice across our therapeutic areas to improve meaningful patient outcomes. As a key member of the Global Medical Director office team reporting to the Global Head, Neuropsychiatry, the Associate Medical Director supports the development and implementation of the Global Medical Strategy for Biogen’s Neuropsychiatry (NP) therapeutic area. What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Global medical strategy and tactics for Neuropsychiatry assets.
- Serve as a key point of contact for important cross-functional partners (e.g. US Medical, Clinical Development, Epidemiology, Pharmacovigilance, Commercial, Market Access, Global Medical Capabilities).
- Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders (including KMEs, healthcare institutions and advocacy groups) in NP therapeutic landscape.
- Drive the pull through of medical strategy into tactics from the NP asset plan by contributing to Congress publications, educational efforts, data generation projects & advisory boards.
- As a content expert, contribute to the development/adaptation of medical materials consistent with DSMR requirements (e.g. presentations, training materials, medical briefs and talking points) for internal colleagues as well as proactive and reactive resources for use in engagements with external stake holders.

Qualifications
Required skills:
- MD, PhD, PharmD or comparable advanced degree is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably with prior work in Headquarters-based Medical Affairs role &/or Field Medical based role. Substitution of industry work with relevant clinical practice experience in NP may be considered.
- Ability to manage projects and take initiative to solve complex and challenging problems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to include presentations.

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is $154,100 to $256,800. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen’s LTI grants and other incentive programs.
