About This Role

You will be responsible for the execution of assigned activities related to new and/or ongoing Early Access Programs (EAP) run by Biogen.  You must possess a strong understanding of the Early Access space (i.e., concepts, principles, key considerations) as the role will be accountable for driving related initiatives forward, ensuring all EAP critical milestones are met, and program updates are communicated in a meaningful and useful manner across the organization.  This is a high-visibility role with exposure to Biogen senior leadership given the impact these programs have on patient access to potentially life-saving medicines.  In this role you will report to the Global Head of Access Mechanisms (GAM) within the RD&M organization.

Location: Baar, Switzerland (working according to our hybrid HR policy)

 

What You Will Do 

  • Provide Early Access operational/strategic support to Project Leader, GAM and Head, GAM
  • Develop and manage project plans with timelines, accountable parties, and program budget trackers
  • Partner with appropriate functions to develop training materials, and provide training to team members on program objectives, timelines, etc.
  • Coordinate and facilitate key project team meeting and act as the lead of certain sub-teams
  • Provide metrics, invoice and financial tracking and reporting on programs
  • Participate and present in regular team meetings, track key discussion points, capture actions, and disseminate meeting minutes
  • Highlight dependencies, key decision points, critical activities, and map milestones; negotiate and resolve issues as they arise

Qualifications

Required Skills 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 6 years of relevant industry experience
  • A strong understanding of Early Access space (i.e., concepts, principles, key considerations)
  • Demonstrated cross-functional experience with the ability to navigate complex environments
  • Vendor management experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, project management, and presentation skills
  • Solves complex problems; decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures, and department plans
  • Expert computer and internet skills including MS-Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance
  • Fluent in English
