About This Role:
The External Stakeholder Engagement (ESE) Operations Payment Analyst is part of the US Standards & Governance (S&G) team and will be responsible for supporting the US Commercial Organization by monitoring engagement compensation and managing all Biogen direct payments. The Payment Analyst will also manage vendor registration for engagement stakeholders.  The Payment Analyst is one of two primary customer facing roles for the US ESE Operations Hub.

What You’ll Do: 
•    Review engagement financial records for accuracy and manages the direct payment process for stakeholders who have completed their engagements. Analyst will also manage timelines for payments by following up with Engagement Owners as part of the ESE monitoring plan
•    Engage with stakeholders and manage the new supplier process for engagements
•    Monitors stakeholder aggregate compensation against internal policy
•    Submit Purchase Requisitions, track Purchase Orders and Invoices from creation through invoice approval
•    Pre-Payment Review of submitted invoices and payment monitoring including 3rd party payment monitoring 
•    Act as subject matter expert of the US ESE payment and budget reconciliation process
•    Participate in the continuous development of the US ESE Hub toolkit (guidance documents, quick cards, and reference material)
•    Provide operational assistance with unplanned events where the business has a critical, legitimate, and time-sensitive need

You are detail-oriented, love operations, and enjoy collaborating across different commercial functions. You enjoy working with workflows and have experience managing payment processes.

Required Skills:
•    Minimum 4-6 years in a fast-paced administration, operational, or financial role
•    Experience in partnering and collaborating with cross functional teams
•    Strong customer service, organizational skills, experience with managing a process
•    Experience working with workflow programs and strong overall acumen with MS Office tools
•    Experience with financial tools and budget reconciliation
•    Experience working in Pharma/Biotech required; experience with external stakeholder engagements preferred
•    Equivalent combination of education and experience considered; high school diploma required/bachelor’s degree preferred.

The base compensation range for this role is $72,400 to $108,500.  Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen’s LTI grants and other incentive programs.
