Sr Manager, Customer & Market Insights (CMI) for Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia

Job Description

You will lead insights and analytics for Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. In addition, you will be part of the Regional CMI team and assigned to specific projects spanning the entire Region. The overall mission is to create integrated insights and analytics on affiliate business performance utilizing Market Research, primary and secondary Analytics & Reporting and Competitive Intelligence. Within these insights’ disciplines, you will drive and build functional excellence using advanced business analytics capabilities. Provide regular recommendations for affiliate leadership team across countries and key business functions, as well as managing the forecast processes.

The position is based in Warsaw and will report into the Managing Director of Poland, with dotted line to Regional CMI Lead.

What You’ll Do

1.Insights & Analytics

  • Apply analytical expertise to support decision making, conduct critical analyses by integrating multiple data sources to provide an objective viewpoint and recommendations
  • Ensure a high level of information and knowledge of Biogen and competitors performance driving strong adoption of Regional KPI dashboards
  • Proactively partner with Regional CMI to adopt centralized CMI processes i.e. patient calculations, compliance rates, models etc.
  • Lead planning and forecasting of patients, in market units and market shares
  • Validate S&OP analysis to achieve effective and efficient patient supply in both markets

2.Business Operations

  • Leverage your analytics expertise and brand/Therapy Area knowledge to align and support both affiliates during key business processes such as Business Reviews and Annual Operating Planning

3.Market Research & Competitor Intelligence

  • Co-ordinate execution of local trackers – provide target lists, translate surveys and lead the local approval process
  • Provide rigorous assessment and diagnosis of brand and market performance, present insights and recommendations 
  • Leverage CI from Regional/Global SIA to support local assumptions and insight generation

4.Business Intelligence

  • Leverage standardized regional reports i.e. Digital, 360Suite etc. to communicate key information, insights and recommendations
  • Analyse all relevant data and information

Qualifications

Core Experience Requirements:

  • Min. 5+ years relevant experience within a life sciences company or consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry with a specific focus on delivery of market analytics and research
  • Broad understanding of pharmaceutical data, including market research data, and which source to leverage in order to answer business questions most effectively
  • Excellent analytical capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure PowerPoint deliverables
  • Highly collaborative – must be able to navigate and manage the needs of multiple stakeholders and take guidance and direction from CMI peers and Senior Leadership
  • Strong communication skills, particularly executive presentation skills

Other Experience Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of commercial business and industry standard datasets
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skill set
  • Strong project management skills, focused on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills
  • Driven, highly self-motivated, confident, high-energy, bright and creative individual with desire and ability to own a high-profile part of the business
  • Strong computer aptitude and ability to learn systems quickly
  • Strong capability in juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality outcome
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries is desirable
  • B.S. in business, the life sciences, pharmacy, or chemistry (advanced biology, medicine-related degree preferred)
  • MBA is desired
  • Proficient in English and Polish; additional languages an advantage
  • Flexibility to travel
