About This Role 
The Sampling Manager will oversee assigned vendor daily operational execution and monitor against service level agreements and compliance to all SOPS and WPI's.  They will work with multiple cross-functional partners and facilitate weekly vendor/Marketing Ops meeting and ensure all deliverables are met, facilitate vendor QBR’s and reporting.  In support of multiple brand needs, he/she will manage sample program budgets including vendor accruals, validate and approve all vendor invoices, and update POs as necessary, and forecast all spend working with all USO brand teams.  They will deliver monthly vendor tracking reports to business stakeholders, managing and communicating PO fund availability, and they will serve as a single point of contact on all vendor related/data IT issues and resolutions.  He/She will be the point of contact for compliance and IT team for federal reporting (sampling) and secure annual report from vendor and provide to Regulatory for filing.

What You’ll Do 
•    Single-point of contact to manage the Hand Carry Sample allocation and direct-to-physician sampling processes.
•    Hands-on, thorough, and experienced vendor management experience from the onset of contract negotiations through the management of day-to-day business challenges with a keen eye for process improvements
•    Constant communication, collaboration, and partnership with a broad team of stakeholders, including sales leadership, compliance, business analytics, marketing, field and marketing operations, and field enablement teams.
•    A strong foundation for all aspects of program and process implementation–including business rule and requirements documentation, project management skills, budget adherence, senior leadership readouts, UAT, and post-production hyper-care.
•    Analyze requirements to integrate new, innovative programs or cost-saving initiatives into existing processes – for example, the transition to a fully electronic sampling program for whitespace and vacancy management for scalability and HCP experience; ensuring field sales and select internal departments’ knowledge & awareness of timelines and feedback to ensure successful roll out
•    Closely monitor and manage third party vendors for compliance with SOP’s, procedures, and quality of output while meeting agreed upon deliverables and KPI’s

Qualifications

Required Skills 
•    Experience in leading and managing large projects involving numerous cross-functional stakeholders
•    Experience in building out a full-scale sampling program and, ideally, co-promotional experience
•    Excellent communication skills – both oral and written, proficiency with Microsoft Office platform
•    Ability to drive results in both a live and virtual meeting capacity
•    Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree preferred

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is $97,600 to $141,500. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen’s LTI grants and other incentive programs.
