Job Description
This individual is accountable to the customers and stakeholders within the US Commercial Organization to deliver data & analytics services accurately and consistently. You will be responsible to coordinate with Neuro-Psych stakeholders – including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Market Access & Reimbursement, Field Excellence & Operations, Multi-Channel Excellence as well as Customer & Market Insight. You will be a single point of contact for data sourcing, governance, strategy, and access needs. You will also support the operational analytics team. You will be proactively working with internal and external customers to identify areas of opportunity and will be highly responsive to inbound questions and requests.
Strategic direction-setting, project management, customer enablement, and technical fluency are key priorities to ensure success in this position. Further, technical fluency and PowerBI subject matter expertise is a requirement to support build and operational needs for pre and post launch efforts.
What You will do
- Represent the US D&A team and our defined data framework and data capabilities:
- Heavy partnership with the Operational Analytics team (within US D&A) to support discovery, development, testing & build activities within PowerBI, for NeuroPsych specific dashboard activities
- Partner with Master Data Management, Governance and Operational Analytics leads to prioritize tasks & deliverables within US D&A and provide transparent and timely communications back to customers and stakeholders
- Drive & manage pre-launch /post launch (data related) activities of varying size
- Actively partake in the data sourcing & contracting to support our go to market strategy
- Coordinate with IT for the data build and analytics foundation to support the US Commercial Neuro-Psych launch in the execution
- Using your business intelligence (BI) background, leverage the Power BI tool to help deliver analytics ready data for self-service reporting & and visualization to the US Commercial organization to measure performance and help to identify areas for optimization in the future
- Oversee the life cycle of reporting including discovery, ideation, data model design, development, testing, deployment, training, and support collaborate with the US D&A team that fulfills and supports these deliverables.
- Gather requirements, and design, create, and deploy commercial reports that support the commercial organization including Marketing, Customer & Market Insights, Field Excellence & Operations, MA&R and other stakeholders
- Support strategic reporting initiatives & priorities
- Liaise extensively across US D&A, IT, and analytics teams across the organization and represent our team on various analytics and insights projects with transparency
- Undertake activities that involve understanding new datasets, modeling the data in an optimal way to support reporting use cases, and creating reporting deliverables
- Develop custom, data-driven, and responsive visualizations and dashboards for business users using Power BI as we evolve from pre-launch activities through to launch to measure performance
- Deliver capabilities on schedule with consistent and clear communication
- Possess strong technical skills and willingness to learn innovative technologies
- Manage and hold accountable data vendors and third-party suppliers
- Define data functional roadmap aligned to US Data Strategy

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Using industry-standard business intelligence (BI) tools (including Power BI (strong experience REQUIRED), Business Objects, Qlik Sense, Tableau) to formulate metrics and to create data quality management assessments and tools to perform adhoc data inquiries
- Using SQL and databases (Snowflake preferred) in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Providing comprehensive BI solutions including requirements gathering, data modeling, data quality check, and report and dashboard development using Power BI
- Empowering and delighting the leaders within CE&O
- Thoughtfully assist customers & stakeholders as they navigate data challenges and inquiries
- Ability to think objectively and base priority on business need and relevance
- Consistently deliver our capabilities with high-touch support
- Drive outcomes while prioritizing work in a disciplined manner list
- Have experience in Agile development environments
- 8+ years equivalent work experience in managing data-related activities within a commercial organization
- Analyzing data and reporting requirements to recommend and design reporting solutions through the creation of appropriate database structures, reports, and query structures.
- Working cross-functionally with commercial, medical, data science, or IT teams, and directing multi-functional projects within matrixed reporting structures.
- Technical capabilities with MS Office Suite (PPT, XLS, Vizio (including Pivot Tables, Charts, and vLookup).
- Translating complex data sets into actionable reporting frameworks and models to enable key performance indicator (KPI) visualization that supports high performance for end-users.
- Strong analytical and problem solving with a customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, engaging across the organization, including (but not limited to) commercial teams, IT, compliance
- Experience with Pharmaceutical data assets & vendors; knowledge of commercial analytics (Sales, Marketing, Managed Markets)
- Pharmaceutical commercial/retail data expertise
