About This Role: 
The Sr Manager, Patient Engagement Program Lead is accountable for the delivery of end-to-end patient engagement to support disease areas, programs, and studies. 
Working with the Disease Unit Leader, you will identify and work with vendors and our CRO partner to deliver the patient engagement strategy, which may include patient insights sessions; recruitment and retention solutions; underserved population considerations; digital solutions to inform patients/caregivers about and connect with trials; connecting with advocacy groups.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Propose and gain alignment for the patient engagement strategy 
  • Source the right vendor for each element of the strategy
  • Partner with the vendor and our CRO partner to deliver the strategy
  • Agree KPI’s and monitor/adjust plan based on performance/response rates
  • Capture ROI and best practices
  • Communicate delivery of transparency obligations to the study teams

Who You Are:
We are looking for an experienced Patient Engagement Lead who is passionate about listening to the patient voice to inform the patient engagement strategy and who is mindful about how best to connect with and inform potential clinical trial patients to help them choose the right trial for them, including our underserved populations.
 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree with 6+ years OR Associates degree with 8+ years OR HSD with 10+ years of clinical research / project management experience including clinical site and CRO or sponsor experience.
  • Direct experience with clinical trial patient recruitment and retention.
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing and delivering on patient engagement strategies
  • Experience of working with patient recruitment and retention vendors and CRO partners
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team
  • Be a Clear communicator who can clearly articulate the ‘what and why’ of the patient engagement strategy
  • Must be willing to work Eastern Standard Time zone 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience of working in a sponsor company
