Job overview:
The successful candidate will be accountable for the Spanish Biosimilars business. This is a key role in the region and will maximize the current aTNF portfolio and plan the development and commercial execution Biogen’s Ophthalmology biosimilars of SB11 and SB15 in the region. This person will be accountable for generating differentiated and impactful strategies that enable Biogen to achieve market-leading shares by defining, developing and leveraging key insights along the patient pathway, local environment and ensuring that these are converted into differentiated commercial solutions for each country, and working closely with the Global BBU and Spanish Team. They will represent the BBU to align synergistic go-to-market strategies with the ophthalmology pipeline and current aTNF portfolia. This includes developing the long-range plan, ICP and AOP for the business. The adaptation of creative global campaigns, deep rooted customer/patient insights, and executing coherently all customer facing channels
Reporting to the Regional director in Spain, this person will be adept at building strong reciprocating relationships with both global functions (Medical, Market Access and Operations) and the country affiliate and will work closely with senior leadership across the organization – superb cross-functional collaboration is required. This individual must be able to look beyond their own discipline to solve complex problems and possess an entrepreneurial spirit, leading several initiatives and a high level of customer focus personally.
Principal accountabilities:
1. Run the Spanish Biosimilars Business, exceed operating targets
Launch Strategy – flows of information, product and money for new launches
Customer focus and coherent engagement strategies across all functions
2. Contribute to Biogen Forward
Unlocking the Potential of Biosimilars in Spain
Shaping the biosimilar market landscape and creating headroom for innovation
Therapeutic adjacencies with Ophthalmology
3. Build Culture, develop yourself and others

Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree
- MBA preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements
- At least 15 years of healthcare product commercial/marketing and communications experience.
- European and/or Worldwide accountability and deep understanding of launching brands
- Strong track record of driving the right multichannel experience
- Strategic acumen, creative problem solving and mental agility
- Demonstrated success in influencing leadership
- Inclusive approach, superior relationship building and cross-functional teamwork skills
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Excellent communication/coordination/interpersonal skills.
- Exhibits outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively develop and deliver presentations to a C-Suite level.
