About This Role
Job Level Commensurate with Experience
The Manager/Senior Manager, Customer and Market Insights role will be a proactive thought partner responsible for driving insights, and understanding of the therapeutic areas and brand performance by leveraging structured and unstructured data to generate insights and execute projects which produce actionable insights to inform strategy and customer understanding. You will be working directly with teams across the organization, including but not limited to Marketing, Field Force Excellence, Omnichannel (Digital) Excellence, Patient Services, and many others to answer complex business questions. This role will be responsible for deriving actionable insights for marketing and leadership teams through ad hoc analyses, patient and healthcare provider analysis, targeting, segmentation, and other applicable techniques. The ability to formulate and develop hypotheses and translate technical findings into actionable insights for business stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a key strategic thought partner for the brand team and key cross-functional partners, and able to draft synthesized outputs and drive beyond the raw output of the analysis to actionable insights; anticipates the next question(s) from management
- Define and lead commercial analytics projects to address key business questions related to business planning through the use of several available data sets (including patient claims, and physician audit data)
- Design and monitor regular performance analytics and prepare monthly/quarterly and annual insights deliverables, performance updates, and ad hoc analyses to address strategic business questions
- Collaborate with cross-functional insights partners to support delivery of US brand leadership needs, including tactic measurement (such as collaboration with marketing mix), and opportunity/lead generation using AI/ML
- Partner with brand leadership to drive cross-functional alignment on performance insights and recommended actions

Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5-6+ years relevant experience with a life sciences company or consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry
- End-to-end experience with data, including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization
- Deep understanding of the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages and visualizing insights via standard tools/charting methods
- High analytical horsepower / skillset – high comfort sourcing, manipulating, analyzing using basic tools (Excel) and visualizing data via standard tools/charting methods
- Strong project / deliverable management – ability to deliver complex analytical investigations and cross-functional projects with limited guidance
- Strong communication – able to distill complex analyses into meaningful insights and conclusions for executive audiences; ability to navigate through ambiguity
- Independence and executive presence – able to manage workload with limited guidance and support in prioritization; high comfort in delivering and defending analyses/recommendations to senior management
- Position title and level commensurate upon experience
Preferred Skills
- Master's Degree in related field
- Advanced Analytics/Data Science Experience strongly preferred
