About this role
As the Senior Principal Epidemiologist, you will support the epidemiologists housed in the Global Analytics and Data Sciences organization in the design, implementation, and reporting of internal research projects. You will have direct responsibility for completing more advanced real-world data analyses and interpret and report on findings under the supervision of a DU Lead, Director, or Associate Director, Epidemiology.
What you’ll do
- Assist in the design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of more advanced observational studies; May write first drafts of research protocols, analysis plans, and reports.
- Conduct analyses in national and/or global databases (i.e., SEER, NHANES, NHDS) to provide background rates of outcomes of interest.
- Critically review epidemiologic literature and prepare more advanced systematic literature reviews and more complicated epidemiology packages.
- With minimal review from Associate Director, Director, or DU Lead, the Sr. Principal Epidemiologists will produce contributions to PSURs, Pharmacovigilance activities, and Risk Management plans
Who you are:
You are an Epidemiologist who can work in a multi-disciplinary team setting, who pays close attention to detail, and has excellent oral and written communication skills. You are a self-starter with a proactive mindset and a focus on delivering high-quality work products.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- MPH (or similar degree) with a focus on Epidemiology training and 3+ years post-graduate experience in pharmaceutical industry setting.
- PhD in Epidemiology and 0-1 years of post-graduate experience in a pharmaceutical industry setting.
- Experience with SAS/STATA/R
Preferred Skills:
- Genetic epidemiolgy experence preferred
