About This Role:

We are seeking a highly data driven, passionate and self-motivated individual to join our U.S Biosimilars team. In this role you will be reporting to the Associate Director and Head of Commercial Information Management and you will serve as the primary source of intelligence about the BBU’s business and operational performance.  This position will be responsible for data strategy and vendor management, including conducting vendor assessments, some contract negotiation and data acquisition, data ingestion coordination, participating in the business rules implementation to enable analytics, manage UAT testing, operational support, and data governance initiatives.  You will be involved in interacting with senior leadership to understand the team’s key performance metrics and translating those into operational reporting systems. You will be the lead on all data questions from stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify optimal data sources needed to inform performance management systems including but not limited to IQVIA APLD and NSP, internal and external orders and shipment data (Order Management, 852, 867), payer formulary coverage data, Chargeback data, GPO rosters data, HUB engagement data, managing the mastering of account affiliation data in Veeva MDM and supporting Veeva CRM initiatives, Symphony data experience
  • Manage various secondary data vendors, including ongoing deliverable quality, adhoc requests, budget tracking and contracting
  •  Assist with the validation of all new data assets for KPI development, quality assessment and usage considerations (new vendors, sources and additions to existing deliverables). This includes testing of quality, metric development and readiness for incorporation into reporting systems
  • Participate in regular meetings with Commercial business leaders (Sales, Marketing, and Market Access) to understand critical business objectives and supporting initiatives.  Drive recommendations for how to monitor and evaluate corresponding performance in market via actionable metrics and KPIs. Involved in the creation and maintenance of the commercial KPI definitions
  • Support the collection, integration, and reporting of key business performance data Manage BI & Reporting lead to help develop innovative and actionable business performance reporting system
  • Conduct ah-hoc analyses to answer critical business questions
  • Support Incentive Compensation from a data perspective
  • Own and maintain market definitions across various datasets, including IQVIA APLD
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on business performance: 
  1. Details on how the business is performing (sales, share, competitive performance)
  2. Field level insights, identifying specific areas of under/over performance
  3. Access level insights, including plan level penetration and uptake
  4. HUB engagement insights, including insights on if/how HUB support is impact brand usage

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an Information Management role; preferably within a pharmaceutical / Biotechnology company with direct experience in commercial analytics related fields (data management / governance, commercial operations and analytics, etc.)
  • High level familiarity with pharmaceutical commercial data sources and integration and demonstrated ability to manage the development of reporting dashboards    
  • Experience working and managing relationships with functional leaders, translating business performance needs into reporting and tracking systems
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting ideas and information in a variety of settings and strong operational skills; project/timeline management capabilities
  • Proven ability to translate complex data sets into meaningful KPIs that can evolve over time coupled with experience in data governance and data quality management (DQM) techniques
  • Ability to travel as needed; up to 20%

 

Education

·      Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
