Job Description

Position has potential to be remote unless candidate is local to Boston. If in Boston, position will be hybrid based in Weston. Remote only for those out of state.

About This Role

The Manager/Senior Manager, Customer and Market Insights role will be responsible for driving brand performance by leveraging both primary and secondary data assets to execute projects which produce actionable insights for marketing and leadership teams. In this role, you will be responsible for generating insights primarily through HCP/Patient market research and analysis of brand/sales performance data.

What You’ll Do 
•    Serve as key strategic thought partner for the brand team
•    Lead and plan market research studies to address key business questions
•    Monitor regular performance and preparing monthly insights deliverables, performance updates, and ad hoc analyses to address strategic business questions 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional insights partners to support delivery of US brand leadership needs, including business planning, tactic measurement, and opportunity/lead generation
•    Partner with brand leadership to drive cross-functional alignment on performance insights and recommended actions

The ideal candidate can independently design/identify the ideal approach to answering complex business questions using relevant market research and analytical techniques. She/he can draft synthesized outputs which provide actionable insights to drive performance. She/he values cross-functional partnership and is capable of prioritizing multiple tasks to meet individual and team goals.

Qualifications

•    High analytical horsepower / skillset – high comfort sourcing, manipulating, analyzing using basic tools (Excel) and visualizing data via standard tools/charting methods
•    Strong project / deliverable management – ability to deliver complex analytical investigations and cross-functional projects with limited guidance
•    Strong communication – able to distill complex analyses into meaningful insights and conclusions for executive audiences
•    Independence and executive presence – able to manage workload with limited guidance and support in prioritization; high comfort in delivering and defending analyses/recommendations to senior management
•    Position title and level commensurate upon experience. 

Preferred Skills
•    Minimum 5 years relevant experience with a life sciences company or consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry
•    Market research and competitive intelligence background strongly preferred 
•    Strong analytical and quantitative skill set, including Excel modeling skills

Education: B.S. required; MBA preferred
