Director, ECP Value & Access Neuropsychiatry

Job Description

You will be an integral part of the Global Value & Access Neuropsychiatry team, representing the ECP (Europe, Canada & Partner Markets) region for a neuropsychiatry product, a potential paradigm-shifting novel treatment for depression. You will serve as the regional level expert to provide critical insights to define the optimal path to launch at ECP. Subsequently you will prepare for value communication to payers and policy makers including leading the implementation of plans and tactics to materialize the value potential of the product.  In this role you will report to the Senior Director, Global Value & Access Head of Neuropsychiatry.

The role will be based in Baar, Switzerland.

 

What you'll do

1.  Work with global functions to ensure that ECP affiliate needs for payer submissions are supported

2.  Support evidence generation needed for payer interactions and submissions

3.  Design and implement training programs of value materials and tools for the affiliates

4.  Develop and deliver market access tools to be used by affiliates to secure pricing, reimbursement and access for neuropsychiatry product

5. Drive and coordinate the strategic direction of regional and national-level policy activities to positively shape the environment for Biogen brands in neuropsychiatry (in collaboration with Public Affairs and Government Affairs)

6.  Partner with cross-functional members (commercial, medical, digital, CMI etc.) ensuring development of commercialization strategic imperatives and operational plan for a successful ECP launch

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience for in relevant market access, HTA, reimbursement and public affairs within the (bio) pharmaceuticals industry (part of experience may include time in relevant consulting, HTA agency and/or direct payer experience)
  • Experience in developing tools for HTA country submissions such as cost effectiveness models, budget impact models
  • Strong technical understanding of pricing, reimbursement, access with demonstrated track record
  • Demonstrable experience in managing multiple cross-functional projects and external vendors
  • Proven people and/or matrix organizational leadership, with responsibility of working towards and achieving set priorities

Preferred Skills

  • Prior launch experience in a market access or commercial capacity
  • Proven in-market capability to shape health care systems in order to meet Biogen objectives by partnering directly with health care authorities in mutual benefitting relationships
  • Sound knowledge of local health care systems and pricing and reimbursement requirements
