Job Description

This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2022. Resume review begins in January 2022.

During this internship, you will learn about how Organization Effectiveness (OE) contributes to the overall engagement and performance by employees, as well as gain a deeper understanding of how investing in talent, culture and leadership elevates a biotechnology company’s overall performance. 

Position Description

We are looking for two interns to serve on two different projects under the umbrella of Organizational Effectiveness. The projects are:

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

  • Partnering with the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team on projects related to workforce, employee resource networks and external sponsorships of conferences.
  • Completing benchmarking surveys that measure the company’s policies and practices related to DE&I

People Relations

  • Supporting the People Relations team in ensuring that Biogen understands, addresses, and reports its employee performance and policy issues appropriately 
  •  Ad hoc project support across OE

As an intern, you will support other OE projects as-needed.

Qualifications

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

Other qualifications include:

  • Project Management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PPT, Excel)
  • Curiosity, Research-oriented
  • Inclusive, Agile and Accountable

Education

Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. Interest in HR, Diversity and Inclusion, or Organizational Effectiveness a plus
