Job Description

This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2022. Resume review begins in January 2022. 

Field Excellence and Operations strives to better serve patients by having the highest level of knowledge for the current experiences, challenges and needs of Biogen’s field employees.  With this unique perspective and close partnership with cross-functional colleagues, we provide the tools, analysis, and incentives to translate our organization’s objectives into field behavior and strategic effectiveness. 

Position Description 

As an intern, you will be responsible for special projects related to the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) business units. 

Examples of projects may include: 

  • Building field ride programs to establish regular engagement between headquarters and field-based employees to gather insights not tracked through our customer relationship management (CRM) tool. 
  • Enhancing the CRM with new functionality to better capture information about our customers and Biogen’s interactions with them. 
  • Improving internal reporting to reflect execution clearly and simply to key performance indicators 

 

Qualifications

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience working with messy data to derive clear insights 
  • Prior accomplishments changing behavior and attitudes within a club or organization 

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. 
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date 
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university 

Education 

BS or BA preferably in engineering, mathematics, economics or one of the hard sciences, such as chemistry or physics.
