About This Role

The HR Business Leader will be responsible for providing strategic advice, coaching, counsel and problem solving to one or more global corporate functions and acts as central figure to provide human resources solutions. The HR Business Leader will also be responsible for building and maintaining effective working relationships across his/her respective client groups as well as within Human Resources.

What You’ll Do

Summary of Responsibilities: 
• Provides strategic HR support for clients to implement and manage human resources processes, including:
    o Provides HR consultation to leadership teams
    o Develops and deploys strategic HR plans to support business initiatives
    o Ongoing Performance Management process including performance assessment, calibration and compensation planning
    o Job analysis and evaluation to determine job level, base salary and career ladders
    o Supports the delivery of people tools and processes (performance management, succession planning, people survey, etc.) that drive sustainability of the business
    o  Promotion process and criteria
    o  Workforce planning and implementation
    o  Employee survey action planning
• Works with clients and other HR partners to manage and address employee relations issues, including: performance management, corrective actions, leaves of absences and complaint investigation and resolution and employment separation.
• Builds collaborative working relationships with the HR Centers of Excellence (COE) functions to roll out corporate-wide programs and ensure client’s needs are understood and met.
• Credible human resources business person who will be acknowledged as a trusted partner and functional expert to managers
• Act as a consultant and advisor with evolving and significant understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to further learning and capability within client group, own function, and broader organization
• Work in partnership with DE&I, the HR community, and the ERNs to build a strong internal and external reputation as a great place to work for all and cultivate a strong external network of appropriate D&I connections
• Utilize the HR dashboard to understand diversity metrics, and review data regularly to reinforce and inspire action, accountability and outcomes

You are a consultative Human Resources professional who is experienced with providing a variety of HR solutions to meet business needs.  You love analyzing data, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and excel in building relationships with business stakeholders in a dynamic environment.  You appreciate being challenged, developing yourself and want to make an impact.  You have a global and inclusive mindset, and want to work for a mission driven company.

• 9-12 years of experience in progressively responsible roles in human resources, including human resources business partner or HR generalist roles
• Experience partnering with senior-level executives to develop and drive people strategies and solutions
• Experience with biotechnology, healthcare, pharmaceutical and/or life sciences industries is a plus
• Demonstrated track record of influencing in a matrix environment
• Experience working in global teams; direct experience working outside of the U.S. capability is preferred


Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in industrial/organizational psychology, human resource management, business or a related field is required
