Job Description

The Manager, Global Medical Operations – Alzheimer’s Disease will be dedicated to the Alzheimer’s Business Unit (ABU) and focused on SOW submission and oversight in partnership with 1. Medical Directors (project owners), 2. External Stakeholder Engagements (ESE) – managing submission and close out: all documentation required for the ESE system, and 3. HCP Contracting – drafting HCPs contracts for engagements submitted through ESE, CDAs as needed, and managing signature and finalization.

Accountabilities:

Manage the ESE, SOW, and PO submission process for key contracts

  • Ensuring compliance with the Global Sourcing Policy
  • Completing end to end ESE process for HCP contracts
  • Partner with Global Procurement on strategic initiatives such as identifying preferred suppliers, analyzing largest areas of spend, and process improvement initiatives
  • Inform the current execution of medical tactical plans and the annual planning processes for Worldwide Medical across the US based cost center
  • Coordinate with ESE and HCP engagement with ECP / BIR colleagues for submissions and close out

Lead (and work across ABU Medical organization) PO accruals for month and quarter end) and support additional financial processes (Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Plan, 3 quarterly forecasts).  Will pull together comprehensive draft AOP across ABU Medical and work with team to meet target iterations

Work across ABU Medical organization to serve as Medical Project Manager to drive CAPE deck and support other strategic deliverables (ICP-Integrated Customer Plan / ILS – Integrated Launch Strategy), pulling together draft documents and working closely with ADU Medical Directors, and PDC cross-functional colleagues

Cross train on other critical functions in ABU Medical to serve as back up for data reporting; helping ABU Medical team with SOW submissions and tracking / troubleshooting; ad hoc projects (pitching in on deliverables to management for ADU updates / presentations)

Qualifications

 

•  Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business related discipline or life sciences degree

•  5+ years of relevant experience OR Masters / MBA with 3+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and/or finance/strategic consulting discipline

•  Experience with project management in managing multiple deliverables and competing timelines, collaborating with cross functional teams on reporting improvement initiatives

•  Experience with working with Legal and Compliance and / or working on contracting with external stakeholders

•  Experience developing executive management level presentations
