Job Description

Joining us as Principal Biostatistician you will be responsible for providing statistical support of global clinical development programs in neuroscience. You will contribute to the scientific decision making and participate in the design, execution and analysis of clinical trials. You will develop statistical analysis plans including data and reporting specifications, perform statistical analyses, interpret statistical results, and co-author clinical study reports. You will contribute to internal decision making, publications of clinical data, and integrated summaries for regulatory submissions. In this role you will be required to keep up to date on statistical methodology and use your statistical expertise, creativity and problem-solving skills to help defeat devastating neurological diseases.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide statistical expertise in the development of the study, protocol, statistical analysis plan, clinical study report, and other regulatory submission documents, ensuring accurate and statistically valid deliverables.
  • Explore analysis methodology and new data presentation techniques to meet business needs.  
  • Perform modelling and simulations to identify potential solutions for complex statistical issues.
  • Contribute to functional initiatives such as analysis and reporting standards and operating procedures.

Qualifications

 

  • PhD or master’s degree in Statistics or equivalent, with relevant industry experience.
  • Thorough understanding of statistical principles and clinical trial methodology with the ability to practice and implement them.
  • Proficient in statistical programming languages and software, including SAS and/or R, and computing tools for modelling and simulations.
  • Strong communication skills with experience of explaining statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines relating to statistical analysis, study reports and statistical components of regulatory submissions.
  • Good collaborative skills and ability to work with cross-functional and global teams
