Job Description

As Senior Manager, TCOE, you will lead moderate to complex testing projects and programs supporting the business functions.

The candidate must be a self-starter and possess the drive required to meet the needs of a demanding environment.

This role must have prior experience working with the stakeholders to drive the QA programs delivery for both GxP and non GxP projects and programs. The candidate must have experience in handling testing for agile programs.

Should possess deep technical knowledge on Test Automation and Performance frameworks

In-depth knowledge and working experience with Test Automation tools such as UFT, Selenium based automation, Mobile Automation frameworks (ex: see test, Appium etc.)

In-depth knowledge and working experience with Load Runner, Network

Virtualization and other latest Performance Engineering Performance Testing tools and Open-Source performance testing tools (ex: JMeter)

In-depth understanding of Cloud environments and implementation of automation/performance infrastructure through AWS/Azure

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams of Quality Engineers across the projects, programs, or engagements
  • As a member of TCOE team, you will be responsible for maintaining, and monitoring automation engineering process and procedures, defining best practices and own delivery of the Quality Engineering team. Evaluates and contributes to projects technical design documents which outline the technical risks and strategies for product initiatives.
  • Manage the creation and development of program specific test strategies, schedules, and resources.
  • Creation and maintenance of project roadmaps of tool upgrades and framework modernization initiatives.
  • Participate in SDLC documentation review with IT Quality team for GxP applications.
  • Identify new technology and tools that can be applied to testing of applications and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans clearly defining ownership. Coordinate resource/staffing plans with the various stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members on the project initiatives and execution across automation, performance, and security testing.
  • Work with integrated teams and 3rd party systems and making sure that there is automation and performance testing coverage across applications within each vertical.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of software test development and project management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of software quality engineering for web, mobile and desktop applications built on Java, .NET, JavaScript, and open-source technology stacks
  • Experience leading teams of 10-25 team members across one or more projects in different time zones.
  • Strong experience in test automation and performance testing.
  • Should have hands-on experience in industry-leading test tools like Selenium, UFT, Appium, TestNG, Junit, Mocha, Jasmine, JMeter, LoadRunner.
  • Experience in CI/CD implementation through pipeline tools like Jenkins, GitHub and Bitbucket pipelines.
  • Experience of containerization of the test automation performance testing is a plus.
  • Experience in coding Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable presenting the designs/solutions/methodology to partnering teams and senior leadership
  • Strong experience delivering software testing in an agile development environment
