You will have experience on developing novel in vivo and ex vivo animal models to solve challenge ADME issues of drug candidates.
What You’ll Do
- You will conduct PK studies in nonclinical animal species of various modalities including small molecule compounds, monoclonal antibodies, and gene therapy medicinal products (GTMP) to meet potentially challenging needs of projects.
- You will dose mice and rats via the routes including but not limited to IV, PO, SC, IP, IT, and ICV.
- You will collect rodent samples including but not limited to plasma, serum, urine, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), brain, spinal cord, and other tissues.
- You will interface with bioanalytical scientists or outsourcing study managers to deliver and/or ship the rodent samples to CRO in a timely manner.
- You will interface with Biogen institutional animal care and use committee (IACUC) to write and update experimental protocols.
Who You Are
You are experienced at developing novel in vivo and ex vivo animal models to solve challenging ADME issues of drug candidates. The ability to perform ligand-binding assays for large molecule quantifications is a plus
