This is for a 12 week full time internship from June-Aug 2021

This intern project will be constituted of learning propensity score matching procedures under both the regular non-nested and nested cases and related theories, conducting simulation studies to evaluate different methods, and performing sensitivity analysis.

Position Description:

• On-board and set-up (1 week)
• Literature review to get familiar with the main methods (2 weeks)
• Apply methods to the Aducanumab phase 3 studies (1-2 weeks)
• Simulations to evaluate operating characteristics (4-5 weeks)
• Write-up and presentation (1 week)

Qualifications

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Grade point average of 3.2 or higher preferred
• At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
• Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

Education

Major in statistics or Biostatistics, PhD candidate.
