Job Description
We are seeking a Master’s level Scientist to join our Medicinal Chemistry group in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate will be an efficient and highly motivated experimentalist with a Master’s in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and 5-8 years industry experience. As a key contributor to small molecule discovery projects, the candidate will need to demonstrate independent problem-solving skills and work well in a team environment.
Qualifications
Experience with UPLC, HPLC, NMR, MS instrumentation
Proficient with SciFinder, Chemdraw and other chemistry-related software
Familiarity with fundamentals of Medicinal Chemistry and analog design
Skilled in multi-step synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds, and with a strong commitment to experimental work
A team player who works effectively within a multidisciplinary organization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Master's Degree in Chemistry Required
