We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Junior to Junior-Mid) to ensure high-quality software deliverables. In this role, you will focus primarily on manual quality assurance (70%) - executing exploratory testing, designing detailed test cases, and actively participating in the STLC - while allocating 30% of your focus to automation testing using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript. You will collaborate closely with distributed engineering teams and leverage modern AI-assisted testing tools to elevate overall testing efficiency. 

Manual Testing & STLC Execution (70% Focus) 

• STLC Ownership: Drive core Software Testing Life Cycle phases including requirement analysis, test planning, manual test case design, execution, and defect reporting. 
• Comprehensive Testing: Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and API testing across web applications. 
• Defect Management: Document precise, reproducible bug reports with log traces, screenshots, and clear steps. Follow up on bug resolution and verify fixes promptly. 

Automation Test Development (30% Focus) 

• Script Development: Design, write, and maintain scalable automated end-to-end (E2E) and API test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript / JavaScript. 
• Automation Expansion: Identify repetitive manual test scenarios suitable for automation and integrate them into the automated test suite. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & AI Integration 
• Collaboration: Communicate actively with developers, product managers, and cross-border teams to clarify requirements and align on release readiness. 
• AI Tooling: Leverage modern AI capabilities (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to generate test data, optimize automation scripts, analyze root causes, and speed up testing workflows. 
• Quality Ownership: Proactively identify gaps in testing coverage and maintain clean, reusable test code and documentation. 

• At least 1 year of experience
• Manual QA Fundamentals (Core): Solid experience in manual testing concepts, testing methodologies, test case design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning), and the end-to-end STLC process. 
• Automation Tech Stack: Practical hands-on experience or strong familiarity with building and maintaining automated tests using Playwright combined with TypeScript or JavaScript. 
• Cross-Functional Communication: Strong oral and written English communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly across multi-functional teams. 
• AI Capabilities in Testing: Familiarity with or strong interest in applying AI tools (e.g., Copilot, LLM prompt engineering, AI code assistance) to streamline QA deliverables. 
• Mindset & Attitude: High level of proactivity, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and eager to learn both modern manual testing techniques and automation patterns. 

Nice to have:

• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Playwright Request API, Bruno). 
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking platforms (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Xray). 
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for test execution. 

• Working time: 9AM-6PM, Monday to Friday
