- Drive excellence across the end-to-end lending lifecycle, influencing policy, assessment standards, decisioning frameworks and operational processes to improve quality, efficiency and member experience.
- Shape and strengthen credit governance, delegation frameworks and lending controls to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, internal policy requirements and industry best practice.
- Partner with Risk, Distribution, Operations, Product and Technology teams to implement strategic initiatives that enhance lending capability, support growth objectives and improve operational performance.
- Provide leadership and guidance on complex consumer and commercial lending matters, supporting sound credit judgement, risk management and consistent decision-making across the organisation.
- Develop and inspire a high-performing team through coaching, succession planning and capability uplift, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and credit excellence.
- Utilise portfolio analytics, quality assurance outcomes, market trends and lending performance insights to identify emerging risks, inform strategic decision-making and optimise credit outcomes.
- Monitor external market developments, competitor practices, regulatory change and emerging industry trends to ensure Beyond Bank maintains contemporary and competitive credit assessment practices.
- Champion continuous improvement through automation, workflow optimisation, enhanced decision support tools and data-driven insights that improve turnaround times, quality and operational efficiency.
