Job Description

The role

As a Member Service Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for members who need support with their banking. Primarily working through inbound phone calls, you’ll listen, understand what each member needs and provide clear, helpful solutions through phone and digital channels.

This is a fast-paced, service-focused role where no two conversations are the same. You’ll help members with everyday enquiries, transactions, product information and problem solving — all while creating a positive and professional experience.

What you’ll do

  • Help members with banking enquiries, transactions and digital banking support
  • Provide friendly, accurate and professional service across phone and digital channels
  • Understand member needs and identify suitable products, services and solutions
  • Resolve enquiries efficiently while maintaining accuracy, privacy and compliance
  • Work with your team and the wider organisation to achieve great member outcomes

Please note: You’ll need to be available for the full six-week training program and flexible to work a rotating roster Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 8.00pm, and Saturdays from 9.00am to 3.00pm CST.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for

You’ll bring a genuine passion for helping people, strong attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and confident in a busy environment. Most importantly, you’ll be eager to learn and committed to creating positive member experiences.

You don’t need banking experience to apply. We’re looking for people with strong customer service skills, a positive attitude and the confidence to learn. We’ll provide six weeks of full-time training, ongoing coaching and the support you need to build a rewarding career.

This role is ideal if you have experience in retail, hospitality, contact centres, administration, sales or another customer-facing environment and are ready to take the next step in your career.
