This is our direct client opening for Systems Administrator, NYC, NY. This is Full Time Position. 

Systems administrators provide support, automation, and management for a wide variety of enterprise technology, including a sophisticated Windows and Linux desktop/server environment, cutting-edge storage and clustered computing solutions, and a number of communications platforms.

Systems administrators are responsible for a variety of support and project work across a wide range of technology, including but not limited to Windows PCs and servers, UNIX servers, mobile devices, and an advanced communications infrastructure. Some support and project work may include: troubleshooting complex technical issues, administration of various infrastructure-level systems, and automation and efficiency improvements. 

They’ll successfully combine impressive research and analytical skills to resolve unfamiliar problems and advance challenging work. They should be familiar with general systems administration, including hardware and software administration, phone, desk-side, trade floor, and/or remote user support.

Applicants should also have familiarity with a Linux environment and experience with Python, PowerShell, and/or other scripting languages.  

Qualifications

This is our direct client opening for Network Engineer, NYC, NY. This is Full Time Position. 

This is a hands-on technical role within a cross-platform engineering team responsible for core technology infrastructure. Infrastructure Engineering designs and maintains the firm's operating systems (Linux and Windows), authentication systems, databases, virtualization infrastructure, core network services, and messaging in both our internal- and external-facing environments.

This engineer will be tasked with the design, implementation, and integration of infrastructure systems, particularly—but not exclusively—on network devices, protocols, and systems that underpin our infrastructure.

Candidates should have a degree in computer science (or another technical discipline) or comparable work experience. Proficiency in Python and/or Java (or similar languages) is required. Knowledge of networking devices (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, or other similar vendors), protocols, systems, tooling, and automation (e.g., using Python or other open source/vendor products) are also prerequisites. Previous experience with the design and end-to-end implementation
