1) My client is looking for an Equity Research Associate – Tools & Diagnostics for their location in New York City, NY.  This is a Permanent Position

This individual will work closely with the Senior Equity Analyst to assist in preparing and executing analyses of functional areas and companies within the Tools & Diagnostics industry.  

Experience/Qualifications Required:

3-5 years’ experience in Equity Research, Inv. Banking 

Strong financial modeling skills required

Highest attention to detail 

Healthcare experience preferred, with laboratory experience a significant positive

Qualified candidates will possess a BS or BA in a health care or business (with a focus in economics or finance).  CFA and/or MBA a plus.

Must possess the ability to synthesize data and articulate findings through excellent written and oral presentation skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment

Wall Street licenses (Series 7/63/86/87) a plus

 

2) My client is looking for an Equity Research Associate – Biotech for their location in New York City, NY.  This is a Permanent Position

This individual will work closely with senior equity research professionals to assist in preparing and executing analyses of functional areas within the therapeutics industry.  

Experience and Qualifications Required:

In-depth knowledge in a key area of the biotech and pharmaceutical industries including clinical development,  regulatory affairs, business development, marketing, or strategic planning;  management consulting experience or equity research experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

2-4 years of professional experience preferred

Ability to search, understand and interpret scientific and medical publications

Strong quantitative, financial modeling and Excel skills

General understanding of statistical analysis techniques

Highest attention to detail

Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage tight timelines

MD or PhD strongly preferred.
