Senior Speech Pathologist

  • Full-time
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Department: Allied Kids Therapy Clinician
  • Compensation: AUD 93000 - AUD 123000 - yearly

Company Description

Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist – North Melbourne
93,000 – 123,000

Love supporting kids? We want you on our team.

At Allied Kids Therapy, we're a team of Speechies and OTs who believe every child deserves the chance to communicate, connect, and thrive. We work across the community, including schools, homes, and clinic, with private and NDIS participants, and we back each other every step of the way.

Job Description

We don't just talk about our values. We live them:

  • We can do hard things. Paediatric work is complex and rewarding in equal measure, and we tackle it head-on, together.
  • We are life-long learners. Growth doesn't stop at graduation. We invest in your clinical development for the long haul.
  • We don't pass the buck. Everyone owns their outcomes, for clients, for each other, and for the team.
  • We show up and support each other. No one does this work alone here.

Why Join Us?

Training & Support That Actually Delivers

  • Easy Start: A tailored induction with reduced caseload, shadowing, and in-person induction modules, so you build confidence fast without being thrown in the deep end.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Work autonomously, backed by a multidisciplinary team that values discussion and shared expertise. As a senior clinician, you'll also have the chance to mentor and supervise others.
  • Clinical Development: Tailored quarterly PD days, a $2,000 annual professional development budget, and 1 paid study day a year, because we're all still learning.
  • Leadership Pathways: As we grow, so do the opportunities. Step into supervision and leadership as you're ready.

A Culture You Can Feel

  • Hearing Your Voice: Feedback isn't just welcomed, it shapes how we work. If something's not working, we want to know, because we don't pass the buck, and neither should you.
  • Fun, Connected Team: Paid quarterly team-building events and regular social catch-ups that build real connection, not just calendar invites.
  • Extra Rewards: Earn extra cash, leave, and other rewards through our rewards program for exceeding your targets.
  • Free Petrol: Getting to your clients, and around in your own time, is on us.

Flexibility That's Real

  • Your Diary, Your Way: Structure your week, work from home when it suits, and build a schedule around your life, not the other way around.
  • Trust First: We believe senior clinicians do their best work when they're trusted with autonomy,
