Job Description

Flexibility with structure. Autonomy with real support.

Better Rehab is clinician-founded and clinician-led. Our leaders understand the realities of clinical work because they’ve lived it. That means realistic expectations, genuine flexibility, and a workplace designed for long-term, sustainable careers.

What You’ll Do
Joining team in Darwin, you’ll support NDIS participants across a varied and meaningful caseload, allocated through referrals and supported by an experienced intake and clinical leadership team. Our service manages a mixed paediatric and adult caseload, with a stronger focus on psychosocial disability in line with local community needs, alongside a range of physical and intellectual disabilities. The role is community-based, with most appointments conducted via home visits. We have a team of two OTs currently working from our Darwin office as we continue to grow.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
  • Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
  • Innovate and Collaborate: Whether you're dealing with complex cases, exploring new treatment approaches, or facing professional challenges, you'll have a whole multidisciplinary team in your corner.

Why Better Rehab?

  • Clinician-led at every level
  • Clear development, progression, and leadership pathways
  • Dedicated 1:1, group supervision and monthly inservices
  • Realistic KPIs that support quality outcomes, not volume-driven pressure

  • 8 weeks paid parental leave for the primary carer, 2 weeks for the secondary carer
  • Wellness days, EAP program & discounted healthcare
