Job Description

bet365 is embarking on an exciting journey to establish and enhance our learning and development initiatives in Gibraltar, and we're seeking a talented Senior Training Officer to pioneer this effort.

This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the skills and knowledge of our Gibraltar-based teams. You'll begin your journey with a comprehensive training period in Malta, after which you'll return to Gibraltar to play a crucial role in developing and delivering impactful learning solutions as the Training team representative in Gibraltar.

Reporting to the Training Delivery Deputy Manager based in Malta, your core responsibility will be to translate business needs into engaging and effective learning experiences. You'll be instrumental in designing and delivering a range of training programmes, including those focused on personal effectiveness and management development, within a classroom setting. Your expertise in evaluation will be key to recommending and driving continuous improvements to our course offerings.

We're looking for someone who thrives on collaboration, can quickly understand the unique challenges faced by managers, and has the passion for learning and development required to implement effective learning and development initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of developing personal and interpersonal skills across diverse teams.
  • Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful development programmes from start to finish.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder and partner management, building relationships across teams.
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing at a senior level.
  • Skilled in communicating effectively through various methods, both verbally and non-verbally.
  • Ability to motivate self and others.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Additional Information

  • Engaging with Senior Managers to identify required learning and management development needs, making recommendations for change where appropriate.
  • Designing new learning interventions and producing materials in accordance with the needs of the department and stakeholders.
  • Delivering effective training modules to people at all levels, including Senior Managers.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing learning interventions and materials based on established principles and models.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of research and trends within the learning and development sector.
  • Managing learning-centred projects from end-to-end, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business requirements.
