Job Description
We seek a Tax Manager with expertise in Argentine tax regulations, open to handling tax matters in Colombia and Peru. Strong compliance and advisory skills are essential. Experience in Peru is a plus.
In this challenging role, you will ensure compliance with local tax regulations while providing expert tax advice to support our business objectives.
You will manage all aspects of tax reporting and compliance, collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the tax implications of business decisions, and monitor changes in tax legislation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
A deep understanding of tax laws and practices in Argentina, along with a proven track record in tax management across the Latam, is essential.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, with postgraduate studies in taxes
- Proven 7 years of experience in tax areas in Argentina, preferably within the LATAM region.
- Strong knowledge of Argentinian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in tax compliance software and tools.
- Advanced level of English; both written and spoken.
Additional Information
- Oversee and manage all tax compliance and reporting for Argentina, and other LATAM country operations, ensuring adherence to local regulations and deadlines.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation across Argentina and other LATAM countries and evaluate their impact on the business.
- Establish clear internal timelines and processes to ensure all filings are submitted by their respective due dates in each country and ensure the payment is made on time.
- Advising on the tax implications of business decisions and business structure and identifying potential tax incentives. Providing tax advice to other departments within the company (e.g., finance, legal) on tax-related matters, helping them make informed decisions.
- Responsible for not just following existing procedures but also for continuously evaluating and improving them. Regularly assessing current tax compliance processes to identify any inefficiencies, potential errors, or areas of risk. Based on the review, and crucially, in response to changes in tax legislation or business operations, the Tax Manager must ensure the updating and document these procedures.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth, developing junior staff to build effective succession plans.
