Job Description
As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business development through comprehensive data analysis and financial reporting, ensuring that meaningful, data-driven insights are leveraged across the organization to drive improvements.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join our team in the Denver office. The Finance Analyst will serve as a critical link between data analysis and financial reporting, ensuring that all outputs are verified against our central data sources to uphold a 'one source of truth' for financial data across the organization. This role will provide meaningful data-driven insight that will allow business development to drive improvements across the region.
The salary range for this position is between $75,000 to $100,000 annually.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles. Preferably with experience in management accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with data validation processes and financial reporting standards is advantageous.
- Experience in Sports Betting industry advantageous.
Additional Information
- Conduct modelling for potential product and promotion adjustments in conjunction with CRM.
- Manage both ad-hoc and tactical weekly tasks, including VIP performance analysis.
- Assist in reviewing weekly performance by applying additional finance considerations as an overlay to high level KPIs.
- Assist in preparing a weekly 'Health Check' report, summarizing the previous week's performance and tracking metrics (Green, Amber, Red) with actionable insights.
- Assist in monitoring acquisition by channel, evaluating the return on investment for various cohorts by state, media source, product, by month.
- Identify and highlight the value adding users to support CRM loyalty schemes.
- Evaluate offer costs and promotional schemes by cohort and state, considering the implications of boosts versus free bets alongside tax considerations.
- Respond to ad-hoc business queries from Trading regarding margins and state performance.
- Conduct more granular analysis on gaming performance to enhance current reporting practices.
- Ensure all analysis begins with data validation and integrity checks to avoid misinformation by utilizing centralized data cube.
