Job Description

An Accountant in the management and statutory Accounts team, who will help prepare periodic management accounts for UK entities and support overseas entities during financial audit preparation.

You will play a pivotal role to support UK financial operations, along with some overseas operations, through the production and subsequent analysis of management accounts for various markets and jurisdictions.

This role will also support the in-house production of our UK statutory accounts and assist with the audit process. As the Business has continued to grow, so have the reporting requirements for these entities. In order to meet these obligations you will be required to work to tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in process improvement, collaboration and analysis. You will work closely with the team and other stakeholders to support ongoing projects as well as focus on continued development and improvement within the department.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

  • AAT Level 4 or working towards ACCA/CIMA qualification.
  • Proficient in Excel with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident individual who shows initiative, is inquisitive and has the ability to understand new concepts quickly.
  • Effective communicator who is able to engage with a wide range of financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Additional Information

  • Supporting the preparation and reconciliation of management accounts, alongside balance sheet and duty reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the completion of accounts support workings and tax packs.
  • Preparing statutory accounts for the audit process for our UK entities.
  • Assisting with local national statistics returns.
