Job Description:

  • In-house allocation and monitoring of work assignment of technician for repair and maintenance of facilities, machinery and equipment, in-house projects and fieldwork activities in Tasman Production, Pressure Tanks Production including Buildings and Grounds. He/She must also check and review the accomplishment report of technician, must be keen in daily outputs.

  • Prepare and Schedule Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) for all facilities, machinery, and equipment. He/She must oversee that the planned PM and CM are accomplished and all needed materials for PR are being processed.

  • Received Job Order from different department and schedule job order based on prioritization. He/She monitor the completion of every Job Order.

  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) as needed. As a Supervisor, he/she must be cost sensitive.

  • Prepare lay-out or CAD Drawings for In-house Projects and other Field Related Activities that needs lay-out.

  • Key person for Scrap Management

  • Supervise carpentry works

  • Key person in GPS installation, maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Key person in Fire/ Safety Activities

  • Assists in writing operational manuals and procedures relating to the repair and maintenance of machinery and facilities electronically, electrically, or mechanically.

  • Assists Company technical personnel in any other manner agreeable to both parties.

  • Communication: ensure reporting and visual communication systems are updated regularly and accurately. Communicate clearly and concisely to shift members, peers and management.

  • Safety: maintain a safe working environment by upholding Company health, safety and environmental policies; responds promptly to unsafe conditions and other safety issues identified by safety.

  • Involve in performing analysis and finding an immediate or alternative solution on machine breakdown. He/She must observe the Machine Availability and Machine Utilization of Production Machinery.

  • Preparation of report on monthly basis (Engineering KPI).

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of Electrical or mechanical Engineering.

  • Position requires the knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles and applications normally acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent vocational training and actual experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must be able to interpret mechanical lay-out; with knowledge in Autocad or Sketch-Up

  • Must have an understanding on mechanical design of machineries, basic knowledge on electrical and electronics, air conditioning, facilities and other electrical / mechanical equipment.

  • Basic knowledge of various computer programs, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and other related software programs.

  • With basic knowledge in Cost Estimation, Planning, and Manpower Scheduling

  • With experience in handling people.

  • Good in documentation.
