About the Role:
Social media plays a significant part in what we do and how we run our platform. It’s where we engage with our community, share advice, showcase what we do, and also where we want to connect with potential clients. Our partnerships with influencers drives this home even further, and over the past few months we have successfully collaborated with some of South Africa’s leading social media voices including “Kiss, Blush, and Tell”, “Brandslut”, and “Miss Lucky Pony”. We want to build on this even further, all supported by this role. 

The Day to Day:

In collaboration with the Head of Digital and with support from our design partners, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of:

Influencer Marketing - Sourcing, contracting and managing a portfolio of Influencers locally and internationally
Content Creation and Management of campaigns across: 

  • Social Media (Instagram, Facebook and Youtube)
  • Email (Mailchimp and/or Zoho Campaigns)
  • Blog

The Junior Digital Marketing Specialist will, along with the Head of Digital, be responsible for reporting on and optimizing social media and influencers’ contribution to website traffic, leads and sales. 

This role will also assist, when necessary, on paid media campaigns across social media and other paid-media platforms. 



Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, english or media studies or other graduate with post-graduate marketing diploma.
  • Exposure to digital marketing, content creation and/or social media management.
  • You need to know how to build a relationship - from initial “Hello I’m from Best10...” to quickly forging a solid professional connection.

The interview process (no more than 3 rounds) is designed to give you as much information and exposure to people in our team. We might also ask you to participate in a challenge or case study which you will present back to us.
