Job Description
Bertoni Solutions is seeking a Copywriter & German Translator (100% remote). We are interested in outstanding professionals with at least 4 years of proven experience in the role. The position will involve creating, updating, proofreading, and summarizing content for websites, articles, reports, case studies, and all types of written material. Additionally, the role requires translating documents or communications needed by the company into the requested language, translating texts from English to German (and vice versa).
Responsibilities:
- Write and edit articles for the company website and/or multiple social media accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop content for a variety of materials.
- Proofread and edit spelling, grammar, and syntax for content across different formats/multimedia/channels and digital platforms.
- Prepare, rewrite, and edit texts to improve readability, or supervise others performing this task.
- Use online sources to research topics.
- Ensure content meets the company's or client's needs and follows our internal style guide.
- Optimize published pieces following SEO guidelines.
- Ensure every piece of content adds value to its target audience, whether external clients or internal sales teams.
- Read original material and rewrite it in the target language, ensuring the meaning of the original text is retained.
- Review and edit the final translated versions.
Qualifications
The candidate for this position must have 3-4 years of proven experience working in a role where they have written and edited stories for a company with precision and clarity.
- Native English speaker or with a verified C1 certification (advanced English) at a minimum.
- Native or bilingual German speaker with a high level of written and verbal skills.
- Experience in marketing: Certifications from HubSpot, Hootsuite, or Udemy in B2B business marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing current English usage standards and conducting research. They should also have considerable experience in proofreading, content formatting, production, and concepts for measuring audience engagement.
- Experience in editing and writing high-quality content in the form of bylined articles, landing page copy, sales enablement materials, e-books, case studies, SEO content, and more.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
Desirable:
- A degree in journalism, English, modern languages, or a related field.
- Native Spanish speaker or Advanced Level
Additional Information
