Job Description
As part of the Arvato Group, we are seeking new team members for ATC Computer Transport & Logistics GmbH, Hessenring 15L in 64546 Mörfelden-Walldorf. ATC is a global logistics, white-glove, and technical services specialist for data centres. For over 45 years, we've helped deliver Europe's data centres safely, securely, and right the first time. Our work includes specialist IT transport and relocations, as well as full data centre commissioning and decommissioning.

The position of Transport Planner will work as part of the team which plans, books, monitors and reports on transport routes across Europe, the UK, and Ireland; the role will also involve designated accounts with primary responsibility. The Transport Planner will be able to perform administrative tasks efficiently and to a high standard, in accordance with standard operating procedures. Are you on it?
Responsibilities:
- Planning & Resource Optimization: Plan and coordinate shipments, routes, driver workloads, vehicle utilization, and maintenance schedules to ensure efficient operations and SLA compliance.
- Operational Monitoring & Compliance: Monitor in-transit shipments, maintain accurate system updates, manage delivery documentation, and ensure compliance with EU working time regulations, road safety requirements, and internal procedures.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for customers, understanding requirements and collaborating with clients, overseas offices, operations teams, and field staff to maintain service levels.
- Service Performance & Communication: Provide timely shipment updates, acknowledge customer requests promptly, and ensure all communications and bookings are managed according to established SOPs.
- Administration, Reporting & Team Collaboration: Maintain accurate tracking and reporting, follow operational checklists, and work collaboratively within the planning team through cross-training and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Experience in transport planning and a good understanding of logistics operations
- Knowledge of relevant transport legislation and compliance requirements, including the EU Working Time Directive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and with customers
- A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
- Language proficiency in English (C1) and German (B2)
